It was banned from our house (bacon and ham excluded).
I have no idea why I disliked it so much - but that has changed, and I have found some absolutely fantastic recipes which I have converted to pork.....
- Asian style sticky pork belly
- Twice cooked port belly
- Roast pork
- Pork chops with sage butter
- Stir fried pork with prawns (scavenger food)
- Leg of Pork (budget breaker - get more than one meal from this)
When I buy pork, I only buy it on special - as with most meats. When I buy a piece of pork for roasting, if its at the right price, I try and get at least 3 meals out of it, and meat for lunches.
